FAQ / Troubleshooting
A few things worth knowing.
What if macOS warns me on first launch?
If macOS shows a first-launch prompt, open Aurora from Applications. If needed, right-click Aurora and choose Open, then approve it in System Settings > Privacy & Security.
Why might Chrome say the file is not commonly downloaded?
The direct-download host may show browser reputation warnings while the release is new. If you downloaded from auroranotch.com, keep the file and verify the checksum above if you want an extra check.
Does Aurora work without a MacBook notch?
Aurora is designed for notch-equipped MacBooks and adapts to the top screen area on supported Macs without a notch. See how Aurora compares to other notch apps.
